Ocean Dream Charters Ltd. commenced chartering in mid 2015. Although new to the industry our family owned & operated business has been an immediate success, both from our clients acheiveing good catch returns to confirming to ourselves we have found our niche.

Kevin & Haley McCarthy have wide experience spent in previous service industries & also fishing the Waitemata Harbour & Hauraki Gulf. We also employ the skills of well known & respected Skipper & diver Rob Arter.

MV Princess Carol was imported to New Zealand from Australia. With a mere 160 hours of service, she is virtually a brand new vessel. At 14.55m & running twin 500 h.p. Cummins diesel engines she cruises at over 20 knots, allowing us to get you fishing faster. The luxury euro styling interior is complemented by its functionality & superb finish.

We are surveyed by Maritime NZ to entertain up to 20 day guests with a crew of three. We can comfortably fish 10 people at any one time. We are also able to accommodate up to 6 guests overnight in three double cabins, with 2 bathrooms including hot showers.
